the first week

It has been so fun here. we have done a ton of awesome things. The cathedrals have been beautiful and great examples of peoples dedication to the church. We spent a day in Morella and went to a castle it was awesome. Our day in Barcelona consisted of "rambling" down the la rambla and then going by the stadium where the 1992 olympics were held. We then made our way to the sagrada familia, oh how this was so beautiful. The inside was indescribable, I could have sat in there for days the beauty and detail was awesome. My appreciation for art has been very expanded. Yesterday we went to a museum and saw all kinds of famous and important art. There is so much history behind each piece or art, each one tells it's own unique story. Last night we went out on a catamaran ride, it was so awesomeee watch the sunset. We were on with a whole group of french guys who were really nice and danced to our girls 90's music with us. Today we spent the whole afternoon at the zoo, it was awesome at the biopark. Here they believe each seminal should not be in a cage but in there own environment, so when you are with the animals you are in each of their own environments. So far we have had so much fun and I am learning a lot about another culture. I look forward to me great stories and adventures. Until next time, Jenifer

plane flights and paris

Wow! It is finally here. After all of the meetings, classes and stress the fun now beings! The nine hour plane ride to Paris was much to my suprise not that bad. I didnt sleep hardly at all just about an hour which made my time in Paris a little rough. I just grabbed some food and a black cup of coffee and on we went. No slowing down. We jumped on our bus and headed for downtown. The Eiffel Tower was amazing, a surreal experience for sure. We got tons of great pictures and went on a boat ride all the way up and down the Seine seeing a lot of Paris in the short time we had before getting back to the airport. From there we left and were bound for Valencia where we will spend the next two weeeks. It is our first night here and everyone is adjusting to the 7 hour time difference and tomorrow we start with a scavenger hunt! Should be another full fun day! Until next time. Jenifer.
